The 1930 Indiana Puzzle Quilt Garden 2016 was our 6th Quilt Garden. This Quilt Garden celebrated Indiana’s bicentennial. Carolyn and Christy Miller and Ida Weaver, an owner of Weaver Furniture Sales, planted and managed the quilt garden. Weaver Furniture Sales participated in the Quilt Gardens along the Heritage Trail in Northern Indiana’s Amish Country from 2011 to 2016. The quilt garden represented one of three unique Indiana puzzle quilt designs. Innovative American quilt designer Ruby McKim designed this version of the Indiana puzzle. Ruby McKim designed her first quilt pattern for the Kansas City Star in 1916 and became one of the Star;s three quilt illustrators.
