With its two wide slats curved for comfort, a pleasing design plus solid hardwood Amish construction, the Laurie Chair will complement most styles of dining tables, making it a great choice for your dining room.

We offer the Laurie as a side chair and an armchair. So you can surround your dining table with your favorite combination – such as an armchair at each end and side chairs along both sides of the table.

Take a casual look at the Laurie Chair. And you gotta be impressed by its solid, well-built looks. Your impressions are on target. Because the best cabinetmakers in the Midwest – Amish men – painstakingly handcraft each chair. In fact, these highly skilled artisans use quality regional hardwoods. Like cherry, hickory, maple, and oak. (The unit shown is quarter-sawn white oak with CF 924 Michael’s Cherry stain.)

In addition, our craftsmen draw from tried-and-proven woodworking skills handed down from their ancestors. Skills like mortise and tenon joints used in this chair. So it’s little wonder the Laurie Chair is so sturdy and durable! In fact, with proper care, it should easily become a family heirloom.

We offer the Laurie chair as shown or unfinished. Or, you can ask us to customize it for you. Your choices include the wood species and finish. Also, you can complement the Laurie Chair with swivel or fixed-seat bar stools.
